One of the most valuable, powerful, compassionate, but underrated, undervalued, and underestimated words' is WARNING!
Warning: to give notice, advice, or intimation to (a person, group, etc.) of danger, impending evil, possible harm, or anything else unfavorable; to urge or advise to be careful; caution.
All of us can honestly say, if we would have given more consideration to this word (in what ever way it may have manifested itself), we wouldn't be dealing with some of these bad circumstances that we are dealing with today.
In 2 Samuel 11, we find the incident involving David and Bath-sheba. This ONE incident had a huge impact on the rest of David's personal life and kingdom. Thank the Lord for Repentance!! However, this could have been prevented if David would have considered the warning that came from "ONE". You can't be held accountable for what you don't know, but "ONE" held David accountable. David didn't know who Bath-sheba was, which kept him innocent until we get to verse 3... And David sent and inquired after the woman (at this point, he wasn't held accountable)... but here's where it all goes down: And "ONE" said, Is not this Bath-sheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite? This was the "WARNING" (technically 3 warnings in ONE). Yet, verse 4 validates that David ignored the WARNING and suffered a great loss, because he was then held accountable for what he knew from the WARNING.
Do you want to hear another WARNING?
Here's "ONE"... Jesus is coming back real soon! Now you're held accountable to be ready!
It only takes ONE!
